Summer Nail Art

Summer Nail Art – With a bottle of a nail polish and a toothpick to use a brush, your nails can be your canvas. Don’t worry, you dont need to have long nails to pull it off! Even the most avid nail biter can exploit this trend. Not to mention its a great motivation to quit! You won’t be as prone to mindlessly nibble on a design that took precious time and effort. Many people are halted by their lack of ambidexterity. What they aren’t taking into account is that you don’t have to have nail art on each hand, or even on each nail. Its very modern to have only one nail painted with an intricate design. There is beauty in simplicity.

For beginner nail artists, we reccommend polka dots. Summer is the season to be bold with color, so choose a loud shade of your favorite. After it has dried, use a toothpick to make white dots over the surface of one or of many nails.

Another great options for easy summer nail art is a playful take on the french manicure. Begin with a base coat of a neutral color such as off white, beige, or even clear. When it is dry, paint a stripe of a bright color along the edge of your nail. Voila! In ten minutes flat your nails have gone from blank to dank.

For the more advanced nail artists out there, try to avoid cliche summer nail art associations such as palm trees and sandy beaches. Think of your nail designs the same way you would think of a graphic tee. Typical summer scenes on tee shirts are not a sophisticated look. But a geometric print? Thats appropriate for women of all ages when paired with the right items. We have been dying to try this cheetah print at the base of the solid nail color. Its classy and sassy, just the way we like it.
